Police operations are increasing
Burglars are keen on Harry and Meghan
Harry and Meghan fear for their safety: twice in a very short time, attempts were made to break into the two’s property.
Harry (37) and Meghan (40) live overseas for security reasons, among other things: In the home of the prince, they were repeatedly threatened. But now the two have to realize that their new home in Montecito (USA) is not safe enough. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s estate became the target of two other intruders.
As reported by “The Sun”, the police were made aware of the two incidents in the couple’s villa in California’s prominent district within 12 days. Prince Harry and wife Meghan are said to have been at the property with their two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, when the home’s alarm went off.
Santa Barbara Police Department records show that officers rushed to the home at 5:44 p.m. on May 19, the couple’s wedding anniversary, to answer an alarm regarding an intruder at the property. Officials reportedly responded to a second possible burglary at 3.21pm on May 31 – and it was just hours before Harry and Meghan traveled to Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee celebrations (96).
Star security for Prince Harry’s family
Harry pays a lot for the safety of his family: he has hired ex-President Barack Obama’s (60) former bodyguard Christopher Sanchez and the late pop star Michael Jackson’s (1958-2009) former head of security Alberto Alvarez.
The two break-ins are not isolated incidents: police records show that there have been a total of six security alert calls made from the couple’s home in California over the past 14 months. Both calls in May were logged by officers under “trespassing,” “property crime,” and “suspicious circumstances.”
Royals do not support Harry and Meghan
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have to pay for their security costs themselves. Now that the two have retired from their duties as working members of the royal family, it’s up to them to protect themselves. (bang/bnr)
