Abu Dhabi Chamber discusses with Burkina Faso prospects of cooperation

Hilal Mohammed Al Hamli, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Advisory Centers and Councils, discussed, during his reception at the Chamber’s headquarters, Dr. Agharba Patricia Badolo – Deputy Director General of the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Suleiman Naybi – Chargé d’Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Burkina Faso in the UAE, ways to enhance cooperation Duo in the fields of trade and investment.

The meeting dealt with ways of introducing the role and nature of the work of the Abu Dhabi and Burkina Faso chambers, the services they provide to the private sector, the activities and programs implemented in developing the local economy, and expanding the areas of trade cooperation with countries around the world.
Hilal Mohammed Al Hamli stressed the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s keenness to strengthen its commercial relations with all chambers of commerce and business communities, with the aim of deepening economic relations between business owners and investors in Abu Dhabi and their counterparts from countries in the world, especially in the African continent, and opening channels of communication to promote further cooperation and economic partnerships.

Al Hamli also reviewed the incentives for the investment environment in Abu Dhabi and the most prominent economic legislations introduced by the state within the framework of its vision for the next fifty years, as well as a review of global economic and competitive indicators that clarify Abu Dhabi’s position as one of the best destinations for doing and establishing business and investment, pointing to the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s interest in expanding the horizons of cooperation with Burkina. Faso and providing the opportunity for Emirati companies to explore investment prospects in various sectors, such as agriculture, industry, mining, infrastructure, and others, in a manner that serves the business communities of the two countries in various fields.

For her part, Dr. Aggarba Patricia Badullo pointed to the importance of coordination to explore new opportunities for cooperation during the next stage, in many areas of common interest, reviewing the investment opportunities offered by her country and the efforts it adopts to create the appropriate investment environment and infrastructure to attract foreign direct investment.

She also invited the Abu Dhabi Chamber to participate in the West Africa Forum / AFRICALLIA /, to be held next October in the city of Ouagadougou, expressing its admiration for the successful economic model in the UAE, and its country’s interest in transferring Emirati knowledge and technical expertise in all fields, whether economic, commercial and administrative, to their counterparts in Burkina. Faso and attract Emirati investments, in a manner that serves common interests and goals.
