Xinhua News Agency, Houston, July 25 (Reporter Xu Jianmei) A shooting incident occurred at an airport in Dallas, Texas, the United States on the morning of the 25th. Police wounded the gunman as they stopped him, and no other injuries were reported.
Dallas Police Chief Garcia told a news conference that the shooting took place at Dallas Love Field Airport. At regarding 11:00 that day, a 37-year-old woman walked into the terminal building, changed her clothes in the bathroom, and then took out a pistol in the terminal building and fired several shots at the ceiling. A police officer shot him in the “lower limb” before taking him to hospital.
According to US media reports, the woman was suspected of shooting because of family conflicts. When the incident occurred, the passengers ran away and screamed. The airport briefly suspended operations following the incident.
