It was via his Twitter account that Philippe Vande Walle revealed that he will no longer be part of the RTL Sport team at the start of the school year. “It is with some sadness and disappointment that I have just learned that I will no longer be part of the RTL Sport team as a consultant or co-commentator! Despite everything, I would like to thank the whole team for these eight great years spent together filled with emotions”can we read.
The former goalkeeper commentated on the Champions League matches as well as those of the Belgian Football Cup and the Red Devils matches on television for almost 10 years now.
He will be missed by some.
