And the journalist, Ahmed Schubert, confirmed, via the Egyptian “On Sport” radio, on Monday, that Abu Jabal had waived dues amounting to regarding “two million pounds” with Zamalek, in order to obtain the financial clearance as soon as possible so that he might move to another team.
Various Egyptian media reported that Muhammad Abu Jabal agreed with Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi club officials to move to his football team, in a free transfer deal during the summer Mercato.
Abu Jabal had signed a contract with the Saudi Al-Nasr, but he provided false information regarding his previous contract with Zamalek to the Saudi club, which led them not to approve the contract, and to inform the international goalkeeper of its invalidity.
