Contrary to what many leaks suggested, the Arc A750 does not have 12 GB of VRAM but 8 GB.
The Intel Arc A770 and A750 graphics cards have been the subject of presentations recently – moreover always well framed by Intel – but so far, several specifications of these references remain uncertain. The company has confirmed at least one piece of data: the amount of VRAM. So that’s 16 GB of GDDR6 for l’Arc A770only 8 GB of for l’Arc 750. For this last card, however, many expected 12 GB. The Arc A750 therefore has the same amount of VRAM as the Arc A580, but operates on a 256-bit bus rather than 128 bits.
In addition, in an email addressed to the participants of the “Intel Xe-HP treasure hunt”, Intel claims that the launch of the A750 graphics cards is now close. The company claims the graphics cards will soon be sent to the press for testing (hoping Ryan Shrout and Tom Peterson aren’t overseeing them all…). The Intel Arc A770 graphics card only appreciates a handful of DirectX 12 games…
Graphics cards under $400
According to a slide published a week ago, all Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards will cost less than $400, including the high end. Just keep in mind that Intel’s top of the line, for this generation of GPUs, is likely at the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 et AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
