Cosmo Jazz, in Chamonix, until July 30

During the day, the concerts of the Cosmo Jazz festival, which began on July 23, take place at altitude, in different sites in the mountains surrounding Chamonix, accessible depending on the location by hiking trails or by taking gondolas and cable cars. Thus, it is in the heart of nature that the public will be able to appreciate the music offered by guitarists Thibault Cauvin (26 July, La Flégère, 1,877 m) and Louis Winsberg with his flamenco-jazz ensemble Jaleo (27, glacier d’ Argentière, from the Lognan plateau, 1,972 m), pianists Roberto Fonseca (28, Planpraz, 2,000 m) and Christian Sands (29, Planpraz) and saxophonist Sylvain Rifflet (30, Loriaz mountain pasture, 2 020 m, walk of 2 h 30).

At the end of the day and evening, head to Parc Couttet, in the city center with the bands of drummer Anne Paceo, double bassist Avishai Cohen (27th), groups Ajate, Berlin International Musical (28th), Dowdelin, Electro Deluxe (29), the Cuareim Quartet and a septet led by pianist André Manoukian, creator of the festival. Colmar Wine Fair Festival, until July 31

The Colmar Wine Fair, which highlights the productions of the Alsace vineyard, also includes among its various activities a music festival for the general public whose poster does not have to be ashamed compared to other specialized events.

Started on July 22 with the rock group Deep Purple, sold out for the rap evening on Monday July 25 with Damso and PLK, the festival, organized at the Open Air Theater, on the site of the Exhibition and Congress Center, will receive including Zucchero and Asaf Avidan (July 26), Angèle (27), -M- (29), Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals and Ben Mazué (31). For several years, the festival has also organized an all-night electro night, which this year announces for Saturday July 30 Timmy Trumpet, Nicky Romero, Bakermat, Jillionaire and Morgan Nagoya. S.
