The government, which intends to minimize social distancing, has decided to suspend face-to-face visits at nursing hospitals once more from tomorrow and shorten the PCR test period for overseas travelers.

As the quarantine for inbound travelers is gone and the number of flights increases, going abroad is no longer difficult.
However, the problem is that the risk of infection has increased due to the global re-spread of Corona.

“(Local) There were so many people who didn’t wear masks, so I was worried. If you come from Corona, there will be restrictions on various activities in Korea…”
Of the 65,433 new confirmed cases today, 333 were infected from abroad and entered Korea.
It has been in the triple digits for a month.
In particular, the BA.5 mutation, which is leading the epidemic, is detected in 62.9% of confirmed cases entering overseas.
The quarantine authorities have decided to strengthen quarantine measures so that PCR tests, which were only required within three days of entry, can be received from tomorrow until the day following entry.
The goal is to find infected people abroad faster and prevent the spread of them.
However, it said that it is not considering intensive measures such as reintroduction of quarantine following entering the country.

As the proportion of infections among the elderly, who are at high risk of exacerbating severe seriousness, continues to increase, stricter quarantine management of nursing homes and facilities.
From tomorrow, face-to-face visits will be suspended and only non-face-to-face visits will be possible, and inmates will be restricted to going out and staying overnight when they need outpatient treatment at the hospital.
