Sad information reached us this Saturday in Grace-Hollogne. Around 1:31 a.m., the firefighters were called to a fire in an isolated and abandoned barracks in rue du Charbonnage. They were able to put out the fire fairly quickly.
But following the extinguishing, they went to check the inside of the barracks to avoid any resumption of the disaster and to check that there was no longer any fire. They then found the body of a lady in the building. Firefighters then left the scene around 2:30 a.m.
Descended on the spot, the prosecution and the medical examiner found that the victim showed signs of blows and wounds. In order to shed light on the exact circumstances of this death, it was decided to put the file to the instruction for homicide.
The identity of the victim has also not been formally established and the DVI (victim identification service of the Federal Police) has been called.
