The man who pleaded guilty to the second degree murder of young Océane Boyer, found on the side of the road in Brownsburg-Chatham, in the Laurentians, wanted to dissuade her from talking regarding their relationship, indicates the coroner’s report released on Saturday .

“It appears that this person had special ties with the young Océane. […] The morning of February 26 [2020], this friend of the family goes to the school of Océane. He brings her to his home in order to dissuade her from revealing the details of their relationship with the psychologist,” the report reads.
François Sénécal, sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of release for 19 years last April, put medication in the 13-year-old girl’s coffee to kill her, the coroner’s report confirms.
Temazepam and methylphenidate were detected in the victim’s blood and urine.
However, this approach would not have worked.
He then embarked Océane Boyer in his car and went on a quiet road from Brownsburg-Chatham.
“It was there that he hit the young Océane on the head with a blunt object. He then leaves it in the snow,” the report said.
The document confirms that the teenager died of fatal head injuries.
