The love of Cathy (34) and Mats Hummels (33) made waves on the net. In a “Bunte” interview confirmed the influencer and moderator recently, that she and the footballer are getting divorced.
Now Cathy Hummels was a guest on the YouTube show “World Wide Living Room” and answered the tough questions from the twins Benni and Dennis Wolter (31).
Her ex warned her regarding this interview. “Mats asked me if I was sure I wanted to come and see you,” she says at the beginning of the show. The footballer also took a seat on the Wolter twins’ couch two weeks ago.
Cathy Hummels on Flirt Rumors
Regarding separation, Cathy Hummels seems to continue to rely on the humor card. Cheerfully, she responds to the sayings of the moderators and jokes regarding the alleged affairs of her estranged husband.
Specifically, it was regarding ex-“GNTM” participant Céline Bethmann (24), with whom Mats Hummels is said to have had a few dates in April. “I have no problem with her at all, I just didn’t find the way very respectful of me,” said the influencer.
Bethmann posted a picture of a cozy dinner date with the BVB kicker in her Instagram story. Later she even shared a private chat history with the footballer. Mats was also not very enthusiastic regarding this action, as Cathy Hummels reveals on the show.
That’s why they split up
When asked regarding the breakup, she says he doesn’t have that much to tell. ‘You met him. He is cool. There were just certain circumstances,” says Hummels.
One of those circumstances was the fact that Mats wasn’t able to take care of his family that much because of his football career. He has lived in the German Ruhr area since joining Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
First, Cathy Hummels also changed her place of residence, but later moved back to her hometown of Munich with her son Ludwig (4). The couple has been separated for a year.
A love comeback at the Hummels is probably out of the question. Even if the entrepreneur jokingly says on the show: “If I make an Onlyfans account, I might have another chance with Mats.” (fmu)
