Kuwaiti artist Tariq Al-Ali saw that the Corona virus pandemic was a reason for the weakness of artistic production in the Arabian Gulf.
Al-Ali said that “the pandemic affected the entire world economy, not just artistic production,” adding that “production is now in the recovery stage.”
And regarding his return to the cinema and his future work, he explained in a statement to “Erm News”, that “he is waiting for the distinguished text.”
He pointed out that there are many works before him, but he is in the “reading stage and he will choose what suits him.”
Regarding the theater, the Kuwaiti artist stated that “(Abu al-Funun) is regressing in some countries, while it is advancing in others.”
He pointed out that “theatrical work is different from television work. You can shoot and show whenever you want in the cinema. As for the theater, it is daily with an audience, and the action and reaction are at the same moment, and it varies from one country to another according to the topics that are presented in it.”
He stressed that “theater in Kuwait has not retreated,” and at the same time denied “there are difficulties in presenting his plays in the Gulf countries,” as evidenced by the presentation of the play “Tambakhieh” at the “Dubai Opera” recently.
And regarding the impact of artistic production on social networking sites, he stated that “Social media is an important element for promoting artwork, unlike traditional .”
Regarding the number of producers in the Arab Gulf, he pointed out that “there are many and there are big names in the field of artistic production and they have the best luck in production, and there are those who have licenses for artistic production.”
It is noteworthy that the artist Tariq Al-Ali began his artistic career in 1983, through the theater, and because of his lightness, he is considered one of the comedy stars in the Arab Gulf.
