After Burnley’s relegation to the Championship, Ben Mee didn’t want to stay with the Clarets. The English defender has signed up for Brentford.
Brentford give a nice thumbs upbringing in the 32-year-old defender, Ben Mee. The captain of Burnley did not wish to play in the Championship and remains in the Premier League, with the tunic of the Bees. Mee’s contract runs until 2024. Ben Mee comes to bring a some experience within the Brentford defence. From the top of his 200 Premier League games, he spent 10 seasons with Burnley. This season he has played 24 encountersin all competitions, for three goals. The Englishman did not play at the end of the season, due to a crack in the fibula.
