Al-Marsad newspaper: The head of the Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, and the owner of the Spanish club Almeria, revealed the reason for his absence from the club’s celebrations of winning the second division league and qualifying for the “La Liga” league.
Turki Al-Sheikh, through his Facebook account, said: “The coming Friday and Saturday, July 29 and 30, there will be major celebrations at the Almeria Power Horse Stadium.”
He added that the celebrations will be with the participation of international stars, Arab stars, international sports personalities and celebrities from all over the world in celebration of the team’s victory in the league, and it will be broadcast free of charge on the club’s channel.
He added: “For information, all the people of the city are invited to the ceremony, and the screens will fill the transfer of the ceremony in the city, and the Executive Director will announce the future quality projects in the city.”
He continued: “Almeria, with all of our cooperation, will move to another stage, and this means tourism and more jobs. I love you, people of Almeria, and I consider myself among you. You deserve everything beautiful. Accept my invitation to the next ceremony, which we will repeat annually, God willing, with our cooperation and our joy in our achievements.”
And he concluded: “I am among you, I am happy with what makes you happy, and what hurts you, and if it wasn’t for the treatment and recovery journey that I am in, I would have been the first to attend the ceremony, but my heart is with you. I love you, Almeria, and I love her good people.”
