Infections with monkeypox virus in Lebanon!

Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of “4 cases of monkeypox virus in Lebanon.”

The injuries were distributed, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health, as follows: one injury in Beirut and three injuries in Mount Lebanon.

She pointed out that “the four people are Lebanese who had recently returned from travel at different times.”

She added, “The patients are isolated in their homes, while the case of those who had contact with them is being monitored.”

And the ministry added, “20 suspected cases of monkeypox have been reported.”
