10.9 billion dirhams of Dubai real estate transactions in a week

Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department this week amounted to more than 10.9 billion dirhams. The department witnessed the registration of 1979 pledges of 5.13 billion dirhams, of which 263 pledged allegiance to lands with a value of 1.46 billion dirhams, and 1,716 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas with a value of 3.67 billion dirhams. The most important land sales of 167 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area, followed by a pledge of 71 million dirhams in the First Al Barsha area, followed by 50 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area. Al Habiya Fifth District topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 130 pledges of 328 million dirhams, followed by Jebel Ali First area with 32 pledges of 93 million dirhams, and Al Yafra 2 with 24 pledges of 28 million dirhams. With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 39 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area came as the most important pledge, followed by a pledge of 35 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, and finally a pledge of 31 million dirhams in the Al-Markadh area. The Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, with 195 transactions worth 297 million dirhams, followed by the first Warsan region with 135 pledges worth 42 million dirhams, and the third in Burj Khalifa, with 133 pledges worth 352 million dirhams. Mortgages recorded a value of 5.09 billion dirhams, including 54 mortgages of land with a value of 4.26 billion dirhams, and 357 mortgages for villas and apartments, with a value of 834.38 million dirhams, the most important of which was in Al-Markadh area with a value of 4 billion dirhams, and another in Wadi Al-Safa 5 with a value of 112 million dirhams. As for the donations, 119 donations were recorded, worth 719.57 million dirhams, the most important of which were in the Al-Rafa area, with a value of 196 million dirhams, and another in the Al-Souk Al-Kabeer area, with a value of 85 million dirhams.
