The famed director has revealed he’s been working on a new movie starring Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
Whereas Get Backnominated for the Emmy awards, was released last November, the director of Lord of the Rings explained that he was getting down to this new project: “I’m in discussions with the Beatles to do something really different from Get Back“, he says to Deadline magazine. “We are examining what the possibilities are, but it’s really another project. It won’t really be a documentary…and that’s all I can tell you.”
“We are not in a hurry, but we have a few ideas that percolate”.
Get Back was released on Blu Ray Collector on July 11. He compiles a total of 55 hours of unreleased videos and 140 hours of studio recordings for “Let It Be”.
