The artist, Souad Nasr, was famous for playing comic roles since the beginning of her artistic career. The artist, who was born in 1953, began her career at an early age following graduating from the Higher Institute of Arts.

Actress Souad Nasr married twice, the first to the late artist Ahmed Abdel Wareth, and gave birth to him “Fayrouz and Tariq”, before she married engineer Mohamed Abdel Moneim, to remain his wife until the end of her life.
In 2006, the late artist decided to perform a plastic surgery through a surgery in a hospital in Cairo to liposuction, and minutes before the operation, a doctor gave her a dose of anesthetic, but it was too much, which made her fall into a coma.
Doctors then quickly tried to save her and treat the matter, but she had suffered a sharp drop in blood circulation, and she was exposed to a severe drop in the level of oxygen, which did not reach the cerebral cortex and its cells, and she remained in that condition for regarding a year.
Until she woke up for only five minutes, during which she recommended that her husband hurry to bury her and that her family stay in the cemeteries for an entire hour, praying for her mercy and forgiveness, and she died following that in 2007.
