Many patients in clinical trials regained pigmentation following regarding six months of twice-daily use – and the cream showed stronger results following a full year of treatment, according to the Daily Mail.
The drug may take up to 24 weeks to show effectiveness in many patients. For some, it may take up to a year to reach its full potential.
The third stage of the disease
The drug showed promising results in a recently completed phase 3 clinical trial, which included 600 participants. Those who used the cream also showed a significant improvement in their skin tone, with half reaching a successful repigmentation threshold following a year.
