Kaya, (AIB) – Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 2022-006/PRES-TRANS of June 29, 2022 prohibiting the circulation of motorized vehicles in areas with high security challenges, the Governor of the Center-North Region Colonel Z. Blaise Ouédraogo, made public on Tuesday, the list of areas concerned within his territorial jurisdiction.

In an administrative communiqué dated July 19, 2022, Colonel Z. Blaise Ouédraogo, Governor of the Center-North region, banned the circulation of ”Aloba”, ”Sanili”, ”Fortune” brand motorcycles. ‘ or of the same nature as well as tricycles transporting people for the period from July 19 to October 18, 2022.

This ban applies to the entire villages of the communes of Barsalogho, Boussouma, Dablo, Kaya, Mane, Namissiguima, Pibaore, Pensa and Pissila as well as the villages of Balinga, Boinkounbouga, Doure, Guibtenga, Goura, Koura, Niongtenga, Poessin, Samboiga , soubera natenga, radogo, rahalé and tibin in the commune of Ziga in the province of Sanmatenga.

In Namentenga, these are all the villages of all the municipalities of the province, namely Boala, Boulsa, Bouroum, Dargo, Nagbingou, Tougouri, Yalgo and Zéguedeguin.

As for the province of Bam, it is the whole of the villages of the communes of Bourzanga, Nasséré, Rollo and Zimtanga. The villages of Zoura, Darbiti 2, Wousse, Yalka, Yargo, Kourpelle, Sandoure, Kiella, Badinogo, Darigma, Nakindougou and Koumbango in the commune of Congoussi. The villages of Tangpela, Lefourba, Lefourba foulbé, Welga and Wintini in the commune of Sabcé. For the commune of Tikaré, it is the villages of Soukoundougou, Vato, Fancé, Touga, Yes and Napalgué.

The defense and security forces and defense auxiliaries as well as any person authorized by the FDS of the municipality concerned are exempt from this measure.

”All agreeable, is exposed to the risks related to the operations without prejudice to the legal proceedings and sanctions provided for by the texts in force.” warns the signatory.
