The Egyptian national youth team, born in 2003, faces its Omani counterpart at eight in the evening today, Thursday, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its first match in the fourth group competitions of the Arab Cup, which started yesterday, Wednesday, and will continue until August 5.
The fourth group of the Arab Youth Cup includes Egypt and Oman, along with the Somali team, and coach Mahmoud Jaber seeks to achieve positive results with the youth of the Pharaohs.
Before traveling to Saudi Arabia, the youth team played a friendly match once morest Al-Ismaili last Monday, which ended in a goalless draw between the two teams.

The Arab Cup for U-20 Youth will witness the participation of 18 Arab teams: host Saudi Arabia, along with Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, UAE, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Mauritania, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Djibouti and Somalia.
The list announced by the technical staff of the youth team included 23 players: Ahmed Nader Al-Sayed, Karim Ahmed Nabil and Mohamed Adel Amin guarding the goal, along with Omar Fayed, Abdel Rahman Rashdan, Abdel Rahman Gouda, Ahmed Rifai, Iyad Al-Asqalani, Moamen Mahmoud, Mahmoud Bassiouni, Raafat Khalil, Khaled Awad, Mohamed Hamdi, Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Majed Hani, Tariq Alaa, Ahmed Rushdi, Abdel Latif Abu Qura, Omar Al Saei, Youssef Hassan, Ahmed Nader Hawash, Mahmoud Ahmed Morsi and Salah Pasha.
The technical staff of the youth team includes: Mahmoud Jaber as technical director, Karam Morsi as general coach, Hamdi Hamdan as coach, Ihab Galal as goalkeeper coach, Majed Hani, the team’s doctor, and Ahmed Ihab and Amr Salman as administrators.
