A whole drama is living Tony Garnett, the man who made headlines in May when his love story with a Ukrainian refugee went viral, for whom he left his wife and mother of two children.
Recently, Garnett told in an interview that he lost his job and that he has to take care of his current partner, Sofiia Karkadym, as she became partially blind due to an eye infection.
“I have been trying to get by and survive with Sofia. I want to show people that I am not a beggar for government benefits, I know what is right”, he stated.
However, he confessed the difficult time he is going through, trying to support his new home and care for his partner.
In May, his story went viral following it became known that he left his family to start a new relationship with the young woman who arrived at his home in the United Kingdom. At that time, Sofiia defended herself and assured that she is not a “housebreaker”.
Garnett ran a security company that boasted contracts with the NHS (National Health Service). However, by becoming a public figure he lost those contracts when journalists and paparazzi started showing up at his office, which worried health officials,
