Behaviour, the Quebec publisher behind the horror game Dead by Daylight today announces a collection of outfits inspired by the universe of the Japanese anime Attack on Titan, available now.

Dead by Daylight launches its first collection of 10 exclusive Outfits today with the internationally acclaimed anime The attack of the Titans, marking a first collaboration from the world of manga. To celebrate this highly anticipated launch, a special promotion will run from today until July 26, 2022 on select Outfits and players will also be able to enjoy daily in-game rewards.
A beautiful and unforgiving world
Created by Hajime Issayama, The attack of the Titans is unquestionably one of the most popular manga series of all time and has been adapted for magazines, novels, television, cinema and video games.
This award-winning Japanese creation is a grandiose odyssey set in a futuristic universe that addresses themes of war, revenge, morality, justice and kindness. It transports readers to the heart of the Island of Paradise where the inhabitants are forced to live inside three concentric Walls protecting them from the Titans, humanoid giants whose sole purpose is to annihilate them.
The visuals and story of this legendary anime have had a significant effect on many of us and we are thrilled to introduce cosmetic items from this critically acclaimed universe,” says Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight. “This is one of the most extensive Collections with 10 Outfits designed for Killers and Survivors. Our approach to bringing the iconic 2-D design from the anime into our 3-D universe was quite a challenge as we wanted to honor the original art direction while staying true to the essence of Dead by Daylight. We are extremely proud of this Collection and hope that fans will enjoy it to the fullest.
History is written
This Collection includes eight Very Rare Outfits for Survivors and two Ultra Rare Outfits for Slayers. Fans will be happy to dress Dwight Fairfield in Eren’s Uniform, Yui Kimura in Mikasa’s Uniform, Felix Richter in Armin’s Uniform, Meg Thomas in Annie’s Uniform, Zarina Kassir in Hange’s uniform, Jake Park in Levi’s uniform, Kate Denson in Historia’s uniform and Ace Visconti in Kenny’s uniform. As for the Slayers, fans will be able to discover the Armored Titan Outfit for The Oni as well as the Weapon Hammer Titan Outfit for the Spirit.
When developing cosmetic items in-game, we view each Outfit as an opportunity to tell a story. Outfits are visual representations of legend and history unique to each character,” says Xavier Etchepare, Art Director for Dead by Daylight. « The Collection The attack of the Titans is the result of an astonishing marriage between realities and genres. We wondered how our characters would react on Paradise Island. Who would they most resemble?
The team thus analyzed the psychology of each character in the attack of the Titans as well as their personal journey in history to develop this Collection. A bandage here, a torn shirt there – no detail is insignificant and directly refers to an event from the manga or the anime.
An Outfit is like a polaroid – a moment in the life of an immortalized character. We delved deep into each character’s past so that the Outfit best reflects their values and emotions,” says Rose Li, Project Manager responsible for the in-game store. “For example, Historia’s jacket, as worn by Kate, was chosen to reflect her kindness, as she is worn in the anime to visit an orphanage. We had lots of other outfit options for Kate but wanted to reflect that intrinsic value she shares with Historia Reiss. The Collection is full of similar details.
Victory is in battle
Starting today, players will be rewarded in many ways. As such, anyone logging into Dead by Daylight will be gifted the Training Brigades Crest Charm to display in-game. Four exclusive Charms are available when a certain number of Outfits are obtained from the in-game store: Exploration Battalion Crest, Special Brigades Crest, Garrison Crest and Titan Wall Charm.
Fans are also invited to take advantage of a promotion available on certain characters as well as daily rewards which will be available until July 26, 2022.
