The Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajil, issued a decision to pay a month’s salary and a subsistence allowance to employees, employees and workers participating in the Hajj activities 1443 AH.
The decision included the disbursement of a basic month’s salary as a reward to all participants in the Hajj from inside Makkah and the holy sites, and the assignment of participants from outside Makkah from the staff of the Ministry’s office and from its other facilities and whose names are included in the Hajj manpower program for the periods specified for them in the program.
It stipulated the disbursement of a subsistence allowance of 500 riyals to everyone who actually participates in the pilgrimage work from the employees of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah and its affiliated departments, workers with government agencies and emergency teams, provided that the amount spent on the subsistence allowance is inclusive of subsistence for the duration of the Hajj period, and not to combine rations insurance In kind and between the disbursement of the cash amount, and the availability of a financial appropriation for that in the ministry’s budget.
The decision also included the payment of a cash subsistence of 500 riyals to all participants in the pilgrimage work in the Holy Sites and those who work in the health centers in the Shaar (Arafat, Muzdalifah, Mina and the Jamarat facilities), for all days specified for subsistence from 8/12/1443 AH until 14/12/1443 .
The decision stressed the adherence of candidates to participate in the Hajj season of 1443 to work in the locations and dates specified for them in the program, and the expenses of their assignment are calculated from the date of their commencement of work to the date of its completion. Or proven irregular or serious at work.
He pointed out that the rewards and assignment allowance are disbursed following each participant returns to his workplace and presents the original certificate of participation issued by the Hajj Manpower Committee, attested by his workplace in Hajj, stating that he has started work. An additional work bonus is given to them, while employees from outside Makkah are compensated for the extra hours with a 7-day leave, and the employer determines the time for the employee to enjoy this leave together or separately according to his request.
