Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip has spread on social networking sites of Umm Yahya, who is considered one of the centenarian women in the village of Zabna in the Asir region.
The elderly woman, who is regarding 100 years old, said during the clip, “Praise be to God for what God has given… and I am satisfied with what God has given me,” referring to her expression of her grief over her deceased son 30 years ago.
Someone asked Umm Yahya regarding a picture hanging in the front of the house, saying, “Who is this picture for?” Umm Yahya replied, “The image is true, my son, may God make him in heaven, with the honor of the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.” And she continued, “He was a soldier in Hafr Al-Batin.”
She indicated that she preserves the image, saying, “Wipe it with a clean cloth every day. You see it as a picture, but it is here in my heart, I picture it in my heart.”
The video sparked a wide interaction among its traders, who expressed their sympathy for the elderly lady.
