They offer a $20,000 reward for finishing Halo 2 without dying in ‘LASO’ mode

And streamer known as Charlie White has launched a challenge for the most skilled fans of Halo: overcome Halo 2 at a certain level of difficulty known by its acronym as LASO (Legendary All Skulls On) without dying even once during the game. As the user has commented through his channel of YouTube (va my box), those players who manage to accomplish this feat will be rewarded with a prize of 20,000 dollarsalthough it should be noted that the custom difficulty level it proposes is excessively difficult to the point that most players may find it impossible to overcome without dying.

Difficulty mode LASO puts Bungie’s video game on Legendary and introduces a number of mods including Enemy health increases and drastic reductions in ammo clip capacities of all weapons. Charlie White initially offered a $5,000 reward, but later decided to increase it drastically as he considers this task to be “the most difficult challenge in all of video games today.” The streamer ensures that in these last three weeks there are not a few players who have tried to overcome the challenge, highlighting that 99% of them mightn’t even get past the first level of the title.

Rules for the challenge to overcome Halo 2 in LASO mode

White has shared a series of simple rules for those players who are interested in participating in the challenge and opt for the succulent prize of 20,000 dollars:

  • Stream the game live, either via YouTube or Twitch.
  • Play Halo 2 on Legendary difficulty with 13 of the LASO options enabled, excluding an option known as Envy.

Apparently, Envy is an option that replaces the Master Chief’s flashlight with the ability to turn invisible while cloaking is active.which is why the streamer has decided that this option be deactivated as an essential requirement since it does not make it difficult at all to complete the challenge.
