Turkey-Iran-Russia Joint Conference: Vladimir Putin to Iran

Tehran: Russian President Vladimir Putin to Iran to attend the joint conference held by Russia with Turkey and Iran. In Tehran, the capital of Iran, Vladimir Putin will meet with Turkish President Erdogan and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

The Trilateral Conference is being held in Tehran as part of the Astana Peace Agreement. Russia is taking the initiative to hold this conference for a peaceful end to the ongoing conflict in Syria. The three heads of state will also discuss ways to eradicate international terrorism.

This is Putin’s second foreign trip since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine. Last June, he visited Turkmenistan and Tajikistan as part of the Caspian Summit.
