The price of 21 carat gold in the Egyptian market stabilized today, Monday, recording regarding 990 pounds per gram, and the carat is the best-selling in the local market.

Today, Monday, the price of 18 karat gold reached regarding 848.5 pounds per gram.

14 karat gold price

And the price of 14 karat gold today was regarding 662 pounds.

The price of the gold pound reached regarding 7,920 pounds, as it weighs 8 grams of 21 karat, without workmanship, stamp or tax.

Gold prices fell at the end of trading last Friday, to record the fifth weekly decline in a row, as the continuous rise of the dollar and fears of a sharp rise in US interest rates affected the demand for bullion.

The price of gold fell 2.1% during trading last week, and the dollar is hovering around its highest levels in 20 years, to continue to reduce the demand for gold denominated in the US currency among foreign investors, following the precious metal fell more than 2% on Thursday.
