After it sparked an uproar and controversy due to its widespread spread in Egypt and the news on social media that it caused the death of a citizen, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, revealed the contents of the so-called “Hitler injection”, warning of its extreme danger.
Abdul Ghaffar explained that this injection is a combination of antibiotics with cortisone and vitamins that are used without prescriptions as a quick treatment for colds, noting that it may lead to a sharp drop in blood circulation, heart failure, and death.
wrong practices
He also added, during a telephone interview with a local program, that there are wrong health practices that people resort to while taking treatments that are not allowed without a prescription.
He indicated that any medication, especially antibiotics, must be dosed according to the condition of the affected person.
It is noteworthy that “Hitler’s syringe” is widely used in popular areas and rural villages in Egypt, where the patient feels a significant and noticeable improvement immediately following its use, without paying attention to the risks that may lead to his life.
