Fiat 500 attacks the Dacia Sandero in Spain!

Fiat 500

Leader in Italy and on the podium in France, sales of the Fiat 500 exceed those of the Dacia Sandero in Spain.

Dacia Sandero, once the best-selling low-cost model in the Iberian Peninsula, today the Romanian is facing a very tough competitor, in this case the Fiat 500, which also grabs the title of the cheapest vehicle in this country. Fiat 500, a city car with smaller dimensions than the Sandero but with one point entirely in its favour: the micro-hybridization system which allows it to bear the DGT ECO label.

The Sandero seduced, until very recently, motorists with its very attractive price, but this is no longer the case today. Because, as can be seen on the Spanish site quecochemecompro.esthe Italian model can boast of being the cheapest model in Spain at the moment.

While the most basic version of the Romanian city car starts at €12,790 with all discounts included, the access version of the Italian model has a starting price of €12,672. It is clear that the price difference is not necessarily significant, but it remains significant given the success of the 500 in this country.

It should be mentioned that the Fiat 500 is equipped in its entry-level version with a 70 hp MHEV gasoline engine that consumes only 5 liters per 100 kilometers. The New Fiat 500 is currently sold in 38 countries and four different geographical areas: from Europe to Latin America, from the Middle East to Japan.

Remember that in the first half of 2022, the New Fiat 500 is third in Europe in the electric car market, taking first place in Germany and Italy and placing on the podium in France and Spain.
