At the end of 4 weeks of cycling, Eric and Stéphane sent us a new message.
“End of week 4. Since then we have traveled a total of 3,523 km, crossing the plains of Kansas on a slight incline, reaching the small town of Guymon in Oklahoma, perched at an altitude of approximately 950 m. these meadows like Lucky Luke on his faithful Jolly Jumper, skirting the singing wire and often crossing the Pony Express was sometimes grueling, especially headwind, with sometimes straight lines of 30 or 40 kilometers, over distances of up to 177 km… We meet many Derricks, a few cowboys, but mostly trucks… It is 38°C in the shade, but there are very few trees, and the humidity is sometimes suffocating… We cross the Panhandle from Oklahoma and we enter Texas tomorrow… following more than 154 hours in the saddle”.
