5.9 percent rise in the GDP of the Chinese financial sector in the second quarter of 2022
BEIJING, July 17, 2022 (Xinhua) — The GDP of China’s financial sector grew by 5.9 percent in the second quarter of 2022, to reach 2.4249 trillion yuan (359.23 billion U.S. dollars), official data released by the National Statistics Authority on Saturday showed.
The data indicated that the real estate sector’s gross domestic product decreased by 7 percent in the second quarter of this year, reaching 1.8605 trillion yuan.
The figures came following China released the country’s gross domestic product last Friday, with the figure growing 0.4 percent year on year to 29.2464 trillion yuan in the second quarter of this year.
