Three Belgian tourists tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident in Kenya on Friday July 15. According to information from our colleagues from HLN, the three Belgians were in a Toyota van when a trailer hit them.
The truck driver swerved and the container from the trailer landed on the Belgians’ van. The three tourists were killed instantly and are members of the same family.
“The cause of the accident is still under investigation,” police said. The Belgians were on the road between Mombasa and Nairobi, a road known to be very dangerous.
