Her uncle, the musician Gamal Salama, despite this, chose a different path for herself in art, which is acting. She was born in Cairo on May 31, 1968.
Her father separated from her mother when she was only one year old, and he said in one of his meetings that her mother taught her cruelty, although he kept in touch with her and continued her education until university.
From the stage, she was nominated to participate in many films, as she was distinguished by seductive roles, which she admitted in more than one interview that she presented this quality without vulgarity and in a completely different way.
Among her roles is “The Scream” in front of Nour El Sherif, the film in which she won the Best Actress award, and she also co-starred in “Mr. Karate” in front of Ahmed Zaki, “America Chica Becca” in front of Mohamed Fouad, and “The Sea laughs at me.” With Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.
Also among her films are “Al-Sharabiyeh”, “The Curse of Money”, “A Man in the Eyes of a Woman”, “Kid of the Worlds”, “Women’s Hell”, “Woves Conflict”, “Wolves’ Den, The Brave”, “The Drowning” and “Foxes”. And “Lumnji” and “Woman on Top”.
Although Nahla Salama presented important films, this did not prevent her sometimes from participating in films known as “contracting films”, and she did not win the female lead only a few times.
