The memory and account of the former governor of Bolívar state, Justo Noguera Pietri, was not approved by an absolute majority of the Bolívar State Legislative Council (Cleb).
This was announced by Armando Barreto, president of the regional parliament, on his social networks.
“By an absolute majority, Justo Noguera Prieti’s memory and account of a clamor of the people today become a reality as a result of the disastrous management of this former governor,” wrote the deputy.
The permanent commission of comptrollership, finances and public services presented a report on the 2021 management, which was not approved by the parliamentarians who mostly belong to the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, like Noguera Pietri.
The current regional president, Ángel Marcano, has criticized the “abandonment” in which the entity finds itself, although without directly naming the official.
