France Sentenced for driving in a 4×4 on a stage planned for Dieudonné

On June 30, 2019, in Neuvy-Sautour, in the north-west of Yonne, a 67-year-old general practitioner had thrown his 4×4 vehicle once morest a podium installed in a meadow near his home where the comedian and Dieudonné polemicist. The defendant’s lawyer immediately announced to AFP his intention to appeal “an extremely severe decision, not very courageous and not in line with the reality of the case. We believe that the Paris Court of Appeal will not have the same reading of this file and will feel less embarrassed to render a fairer decision, ”he added. During the trial, the driver admitted to having “freaked out” following being surprised in his nap by the technicians who were setting up the scene. He said he had no knowledge that Dieudonné was going to perform there.
