New Delhi: The Supreme Court rejected the bail plea of Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the actress attack case. A bench headed by Justice Ajay Rastogi heard the petition. The second accused in the case, Martin Anthony, was earlier granted bail.
Pulsar Suni demanded that he be granted bail as he is the only accused in the case and the trial proceedings will be delayed.
The government asked the court to inquire into the state government’s stand on the matter not to grant bail to an accused who had directly participated in the crime.
Meanwhile, the High Court adjourned the plea filed by the actress alleging that the investigation in the case was being sabotaged. The plea was changed as per the demand of the actress. The actress told the court that she came to know from the media that the result of the memory card was sent for forensic examination, but she did not get a copy of it.
