Analysts and technology experts have revealed that the American company Apple will raise the price of its upcoming iPhone 14 series very significantly, up to nearly $100.
Scientists attributed this to the current crisis in the world, such as the increase in inflation rates, the lack of some important components needed for the industry, which will affect the size and costs of the industry in Apple.
The technical website “Jiz China” published a recent report in which it confirmed that more new smartphones are scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2022, including the latest expected iPhone 14 series, so the leading American company is currently working on huge equipment for its supply chain factories.
The company confirmed that workers there are working overtime in order to adequately prepare for the four new phones in the iPhone 14 series, and although the work is in full swing, the risk is still present because the obstacles may lead to higher prices more than expected.
“We believe that the iPhone 14 series will rise by regarding $100, as the price increase has affected all supply chains, making Apple to bear these extra expenses on the consumer,” says technology analyst Wedbush.
Another analyst, Ben Wood, confirmed that Apple should raise prices, pointing out that the company may decide to raise costs, which will reflect negatively on consumers who are recently suffering from a heavy cost of living, which will make them reluctance to buy the company’s expected series of phones. Which will hurt the company’s sales in general.
