LIV Golf Invitational (LIV) CEO Greg Norman (Australia) opened the door once more for the US PGA Tour.

According to USA Today on the morning of the 13th (Korean time), CEO Norman said, “(The US Department of Justice investigating the PGA Tour’s antitrust violations) is proof that the PGA Tour has done something stupid.” They should be allowed to participate,” he said.

LIV is a new golf organization backed by Saudi Arabian capital. The PGA Tour banned players who participated in the LIV from participating in the PGA Tour tournament, and the Ministry of Justice is investigating whether the ban is a violation of the antitrust law, which favors superior status. Major champions such as Phil Mickelson, Brooks Kepka (USA), and Sergio Garcia (Spain) are also subject to the PGA Tour ban.

In a letter to LIV players, Norman said, “The federal government is investigating violations of the PGA Tour’s laws due to the PGA Tour’s wrongdoing (ban).”
