Al-Marsad newspaper: American volleyball player and Olympic champion, Kim Glass, was brutally attacked and beaten by a homeless man in downtown Los Angeles.

A group of passers-by succeeded in detaining the 51-year-old assailant, until the police arrived at the scene.
