Al-Marsad Newspaper: A Kuwaiti soldier was killed by his colleague when he was shot with his weapon in one of the camps located in the Capital Governorate.
A security source said, according to Al-Qabas: “The perpetrator turned himself in to the security men, and a case was registered regarding the incident, and investigations are still underway into the circumstances and motives of the incident.”
Retired Kuwaiti Major General Hamad Al-Sari revealed details regarding the background of the incident, indicating that it was due to bullying.
Al-Sari said in a tweet via his Twitter account: “Because of bullying and mocking him, a soldier kills his co-worker inside the army camp with an M16 machine gun, and shoots him with 3 bullets, one of which is in the head and two in the chest.”
He continued, “The crime took place this morning, and the killer fled to the Sabah Al-Ahmad area, then surrendered himself to the police station, and was handed over to the investigations to complete the investigations and refer him to the prosecution.”
