A few days of athletic work in Monaco, a friend’s birthday in Paris on Sunday and a return to Camp des Loges on Monday morning: following his American vacation, Kylian Mbappé has resumed his daily life in France.
Like other internationals (Presnel Kimpembe, Pablo Sarabia, Achraf Hakimi, Thilo Kehrer…) and the entire squad, the French striker underwent medical tests before taking part in a post- noon, in the heat of the Camp des Loges. Marco Verratti, he trained on the sidelines of the group. A first training session which will launch a particularly active week for the PSG players.
Friday, behind closed doors, the Parisians will make their first start with a friendly match once morest Quevilly-Rouen (L2), at 5 p.m. A few hours later, they will fly to Japan, the location of a tour punctuated by three matches. Christophe Galtier and Luis Campos, as part of their workforce reduction policy, have decided to take a tight group there. They will probably be less than 30 elements to complete this ten-day course which will conclude with a meeting once morest Gamba Osaka (July 25).
More than €60 million for Skriniar, €40 million for Scamacca?
For several weeks, Campos had been counting on three recruits for this tour: he will not be far from it. After the arrival of Vitinha from FC Porto, the agreement with Inter Milan should be reached by Friday on the subject of the Slovak defender Milan Skriniar (27 years old, under contract until June 2023), perceived from the departure by the Portuguese adviser as the ideal element to complete the Marquinhos-Kimpembe pair (right-handed, Skriniar can also evolve on the left axis).
The transfer, according to our Italian colleagues, would exceed 60 M€. That of Gianluca Scamacca (23 years old, under contract until June 2026) is still not finalized. His Sassuolo club has set an amount – €50m – that Paris does not want to pay. The deal might be finalized around 40 M€. At this price, it remains a bet for PSG. The leaders hope to bring the Italian international striker (7 caps) to Japan.
