Raphael Wressnig feat. Gisele Jackson & the Soulgift Band played at cittàmusica

ENNS. There was the finest soul and blues at the first cittàmusica concert in the Enns town hall, which took place in cooperation with the Zuckerfabrik cultural center.

The internationally successful Hammond organist Raphael Wressnig played great and the audience got their money’s worth. The sound of the Hammond organ is unique and Wressnig’s playing is bluesy, soulful, sometimes rocky, sometimes jazzy, simply refined and grandiose. The Styrian musician was nominated for “Best Organ Player of the Year” six times. Also in attendance were singer Gisele Jackson from Baltimore, guitarist Enrico Crivellaro and drummer Eric Cisbani, both from Italy. Gisele Jackson began her career in Ray Charles’ backing choir and in the bands of Donna Summer and James Brown. The next cittamusica concert ( once more with free admission) is on Saturday, July 23, with the Daniel Ecklbauer Trio and cool boogie, blues and pop.
