The Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps dismantled a criminal gang led by an official of the Bolivarian National Police who was engaged in the theft of motorcycles from home delivery men in Caracas. so reported Douglas Ricodirector of the police agency.
The group, dismantled by the Cicpc Vehicle Theft Investigations Division, was known as “The terror of the delivery.” It was led by police officer César Eduardo Correa Yánez, 24 years old. This according to Rico detailed in his account on his Instagram.
He stressed that citizens Leonel José Calderón Matos, 25, and Yervin Fredery Vivas Álvarez, 32, were also part of the gang.

The three subjects were detained in western Caracas. The case was brought before the corresponding judicial authorities.
The criminals traveled through the capital aboard a high-capacity motorcycle, without identification, which belongs to the PNB and which was seized following the arrest.
They used the police vehicle “to approach and strip the motorized of their belongings, motorcycle-type vehicles, and then market them, profiting unduly,” explained the director of the Cicpc.
