Arian Recinos, a 17-year-old defender looking to make it big at New York Red Bulls II

Like his teammates Arquímides Ordóñez, Allan Juárez, Kevin Mendoza and Néstor Cabrera, Arian Recinos has grown up in football in the United States. In his particular case, specifically in New York, the city where he currently lives and plays.

He was born in the United States, but he grew fond of the country of his parents, which is why he decided to represent Guatemala.

It is category 2005 and with 17 years he has had minutes in Rafael Loredo’s team in the position of central defender.

He played in 5 of the 6 matches of the Guatemalan National Team in the Concacaf World Cup. The only time he was inactive was in a 1-1 draw once morest Canada in the round of 16.

He is a product of the New York Red Bulls Academy, which he “left” to take another step forward in his career this year.

He currently plays for the New York Red Bulls II team where he made his debut. He competes in the USL Championship, the second category of soccer in the United States.
