ABBA plans to take their Voyage show around the world.
The performers of the title “Waterloo”, composed of Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, have come together for this unique concert, where virtual “ABBAtars” present the group as it was in the 1970s .
Performances took place in a purpose-built venue in London, but Ludvig, Benny’s son and producer of the show, said the plan was to build similar venues around the world.
He told Retro Pop magazine, “I would love to go places that might not be the most obvious.
“It would be nice to take it to places that are not always visited by large groups. The dream would be to have one somewhere in South America, one somewhere in Southeast Asia, one in America North.
“Who knows? But that’s the plan and we’re already working on it.”
Ludvig also revealed that the band performed many of their hits while recording the show so they might continue to evolve over time.
He said, “We did more songs than we knew we were going to use. So there’s more material.
“If the show continues and people keep wanting to come see it, we plan to change a song or update the show because it’s also fun to do.”
