A Saudi prince responds to an article written by Biden about the reason for visiting Saudi Arabia

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Prince, Abdul Rahman bin Musaed, responded to opinion article Written by US President Joe Biden in the Washington Post entitled “Why would I go to Saudi Arabia?”

Prince Abdul Rahman said in a tweet posted on his Twitter page: “I had no doubts regarding the situation that what the American administration’s position towards Saudi Arabia would end up with is what this statement contained. It is not ruled by shortsighted people, and that their short-sightedness for a while and mistaken in their calculations are reconsidering them in a way that achieves America’s interests in the end, away from slogans and promises that were repudiated for their unrealism and reconsideration of them gradually. America – turn this position into a completely opposite position, naturally, that is accompanied by confusion, ambiguity, and extreme embarrassment that is understandable to save the face of the head of a state that is the most powerful in the world, and that this will be gradually until it appears with this clarity contained in the statement that cancels everything that was previously said in this regard and completely contradicts it.

The Prince continued: “Saudi Arabia is a great and great country with its Islamic and Arab position and prestige, with a strong economy that affects the world, and this is something that only a fool can deny. The most important thing is that the people are harmonious and cohesive with their leaders and support them at all times in ease and intensity, and events have proven, by the grace of God, that this relationship cannot be played with or influenced. Despite the tireless attempts for decades to spoil this true cohesion, America is a great and big country, and its relationship with Saudi Arabia is historic, dating back eight decades, since King Abdulaziz met President Roosevelt, and from that day until now, the relations have gone through ups and downs, but it is proven that the relationship between them is strategic and beneficial to the interests of both. It is indispensable to the two countries, and the truth is that the two countries need each other, and America’s need (currently) for Saudi Arabia is much greater than Saudi Arabia’s need for it (currently) as a Saudi citizen.

He added: “I say to Mr. Biden, we welcome your arrival to us and your arrival to your current correct conviction that relations with Saudi Arabia must be strengthened. This conviction is a little late for the reasons I mentioned above. The important thing is that it came and became established. And other world leaders, Saudi Arabia is a big country that is impossible to ignore or dismiss, and the cost of this in all respects cannot be borne by anyone. Never, and examples exist and do not need narration.. If Biden comes to Saudi Arabia, he will meet with our king and he will meet with the Crown Prince, may God protect them, and I hope that this will result in what Biden has stated, which is to strengthen the US-Saudi partnership.

The prince concluded by saying: “What I am sure of is that Saudi Arabia will provide the American friend with something that enhances the partnership between the two countries if our leadership wants that and in accordance with what serves Saudi and American interests. Strong, respectful and affectionate, as happens between friends.. Conclusion: The welcome visit is definitely in the interest of America to fix what was corrupted by a wrong assessment, and because the world cannot ignore the weight and influence of Saudi Arabia, it is in dire need of it always, forever and now.. In conclusion to the Saudis: Your country is a great, generous and strong country. God first, then you, with your rulers, and you are a great people whose rulers are envious of them, and you have great rulers whose people are envious of them.
