BOSTON MANOR – new album “Datura” 10/14/22

BOSTON MANOR announces that their fourth studio album, Datura, will be released on October 14th through SharpTone Records. The burgeoning British rock act has also released a new single – ‘Passenger’ – which introduces the record’s nocturnal aesthetic with the kind of intense and unrestrained burst of anthemic chorus that the band have become known for in recent years. It’s a song that’s both hopeful and energetic, but also on the brink of emotional breakdown. BOSTON MANOR will be touring Europe with ALEXISONFIRE in October.

Guitarist Mike Cunniff says regarding the process of the new song: “It’s really one of our favorite songs on the record. We jammed it a bit in rehearsals and it just works so well live. It was also a very stripped down approach to writing. We didn’t want to put too much stuff into it, which leads to that “We feel a little bit vulnerable and naked on stage when there aren’t too many things going on. It was the last song we wrote and recorded for the record, the final piece of the puzzle.”

Tracklist:
Datura (dusk)
Floodlights on the square
Foxglove
