The ruler of Ras Al Khaimah performs the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Grand Mosque

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, this morning, performed the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Grand Mosque in the Al Raffa area in Ras Al Khaimah.

The prayers were performed alongside their Highnesses, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Customs Department, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, and a number of sheikhs, senior officials, citizens, and members of the Arab and Islamic communities.
The imam said in his sermon: “The day of Eid is a day of joy and happiness and an occasion for friendship, compassion, love and respect among people.”
In his sermon, he addressed the lessons, sermons, and lofty values ​​that our true religion calls for, and which every Muslim must adhere to so that goodness prevails and love prevails, thanking God Almighty for His countless blessings. At the end of his sermon, he called upon the Almighty, the Almighty, to grant His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” with good health and wellness, and to pay in the footsteps of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and to restore this blessed occasion to the people of The Emirates and the Arab and Islamic nations are blessed with goodness, Yemen and blessings.. May His Eminence have mercy on the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the founding sheikhs, may God bless them and grant them peace in his vast gardens.

It is worth noting that the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Grand Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah, this cultural and architectural landmark that distinguishes the emirate, was built within the initiatives of His Highness the President of the State. The interior is the spirit of Islam through its unique architectural elements, and its capacity in the prayer halls reaches more than 4 thousand worshipers, while the total capacity, including the courtyard and external courtyards, reaches more than 13 thousand worshipers. The site of the mosque was chosen to be in the new Al Raffa area at the western entrance to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, to serve the largest number of residents and visitors to it. The land is 241,434.75 square meters, and the total area of ​​the mosque and its facilities is 85,592.73 square meters.
