This comes with Ferrari outperforming Red Bull Racing in qualifying in 2022 so far, but Verstappen believes his speed in qualifying at Red Bull Ring is a warning, given that it is usually the weak point compared to racing.
Verstappen said: “I am very happy with the pole position, but we have to focus on qualifying and the main race and score as many points as possible.
He continued: “I think we have a great car, qualifying is usually the weak point for us, so I hope we have a good start and a successful turn one.. After that, anything can happen, but I trust the capabilities of the car I am driving.”

He added: “It wasn’t good to have a long lap time in Q3 as you’re in a state of mind to keep driving and not stop.. As the circuit temperature dropped, the wind conditions changed a bit.”
He continued, “In the end, the differences were small at the end of the session, and it is difficult to complete a perfect lap in this circuit. There aren’t many corners, but the ones that do are tricky and can be easily made mistakes.”
